Rainbow Flag The LGBT’s fight for human rights and equality has come a long way, and the movement has gained increasing momentum since the Stonewall Riots . The Transgender Day of Remembrance every Nov 20 is a way to commemorate those who have fallen protecting the basic human right to live just like everybody else. Since then, a deviation in the normal or “general” sexual orientation is rarely considered a mental health issue or a precursor to one anymore. They are now being given the same civil rights to marry, and even to adopt children among other things.
